From navigating strict yearbook guidelines to coordinating outfit changes and posing naturally without feeling awkward:
Ask your school for its current deadline, crop, resolution, background, and submission rules. Send the actual instructions before the session so we can plan the required image and export it correctly.
Plan one outfit with guidance: a comfortable, stylish everyday look (clean denim, knit sweater, or varsity jacket), or a dressier semi-formal option, suit jacket, or cap-and-gown regalia.
I’ll guide you through walking, adjusting a jacket, and simple standing portraits. Tell me which photos you like and which prompts feel uncomfortable.
Late summer and early autumn (August–October) offer soft golden hour light and warm dry evenings. Spring sessions (April–May) bring vibrant cherry blossoms and fresh green campus canopies.
Planning prom or homecoming photos in Seattle? Book a portrait session before the dance for solo portraits, couples, or a small friend group in formalwear. Choose a nearby backdrop that fits your outfits, leave time for both individual and group combinations, and check any school or venue photo rules ahead of time.

Most high school seniors schedule between August and late October of their senior year. This allows plenty of time to review galleries and submit your chosen portrait before school yearbook deadlines (which often fall between late October and December).
Yes! Just let us know your high school (Seattle Public Schools, Bellevue, Lake Washington, Mercer Island, etc.). We deliver a dedicated file cropped to exact yearbook dimensions (usually vertical 2:3 ratio), required resolution (300 DPI), and file naming guidelines, alongside your full-resolution collection.
Every session includes one outfit and outfit guidance. Longer or more involved creative sessions can be discussed as a custom quote.
Pacific Northwest weather can be unpredictable! Overcast skies act like a giant softbox and create stunning, even portrait lighting with no harsh squinting. If severe rain, high winds, or unhealthy smoke occur, rescheduling terms are set out in your portrait agreement.
You'll receive 3 sneak peeks within 24 hours after your session ends. Your complete private online gallery of at least 20 high-resolution, retouched digital images is delivered within 14 days, with full print release and digital download rights.
