What time of day is best for a Seattle couples session?
Golden hour—the 60 to 90 minutes before sunset—is by far the most magical time to shoot in Seattle. The light is warm, soft, and flattering on all skin tones. For popular spots like Discovery Park or Gas Works, evening light also coincides with fewer crowds and cooler temperatures.
What should we wear for our couples photos?
We recommend bringing two coordinated outfits: one semi-formal or dressy look (e.g., maxi dress, button-down with chinos), and one cozy, casual look. Choose complementary, earthy or neutral tones (creams, warm whites, sage, terracotta, slate blue, taupe) rather than identical matching shirts. Yes. Weekday adventure sessions are available at Snoqualmie Pass, Mount Rainier, and the North Cascades. These destinations are quoted separately from the $299 Seattle promotion because travel time, permits, and trail access vary. Inquire for a custom flat-fee quote; hiking time is built into the destination package so it does not reduce your photographed session time.
